Children learning in the BabyGeeks Preschool
Grade 0

A caring programme for this stage

A school-readiness programme supporting literacy, numeracy, life skills and confident independence.

Grade 0 helps children prepare for the expectations of primary school while preserving the curiosity and creativity that drive meaningful learning. Activities support foundational literacy, numeracy, life skills, concentration and confident participation.

Every child develops at an individual pace. A visit gives your family the opportunity to talk with our team about your child's needs, the class routine and current availability.

Learning through play

What the programme supports

  • Foundational literacy and numeracy through practical activities
  • Communication, reasoning and confidence in sharing ideas
  • School routines, independence and care for personal belongings
  • Social and emotional skills for a positive transition to primary school

A whole-child approach

Our play-based approach considers communication, movement, thinking, creativity, social confidence and emotional wellbeing together. Activities have a purpose, but children still have the freedom to explore, practise and enjoy learning.

Families can ask about the current daily rhythm, settling-in process and practical arrangements during a visit. We prefer to discuss these details directly so the information reflects the child's stage and the school's current programme.
